Vertex has been appointed to assist BPA with the civil and structural engineering for various upgrade works at a number of BPA sites throughout England and other international sites owned by energy giants BP and Shell.
Working to tight ‘just-in-time’ deadlines on constrained operational sites in support of the various specialist disciplines within BPA to achieve minimal ‘downtime’ and cost-effective and practicable solutions to the necessary upgrade works.
Various structural elements have been designed in steel and reinforced concrete to support the operational requirements of the various mechanical and electrical upgrade works.
Vertex designed drainage improvement works and secondary containment bunds in support of the upgrade works across several sites throughout England including preparing drawings as part of planning applications.
